NEW PATIENTS:

First Office Visit (90 Minutes, $295): Your first acupuncture office visit will include a review of your health history, discussion of your chief complaints and goals for treatment, exam, acupuncture treatment, herbal consultation and other modalities as needed per discretion of the acupuncturist. This fee also includes phone/email time coordinating with other members of your care team (MD, RE, midwife, etc).

Couples’ Fertility Consultation (60 Minutes, $295): A telehealth session for couples who are trying to conceive. This can be in addition to the First Office Visit or a good place to start if you’re not sure if one or both of you will be seeking care and/or if you have a complex case and want a solid hour to review your history with a fertility expert. Does not include acupuncture or herbal consultation.

OFFICE VISITS

(EXISTING PATIENTS AGES 13+)

Follow-Up Visits: $140

60 minutes; includes brief consultation, exam, acupuncture treatment, herbal consultation, nutritional consultation, other modalities as needed per discretion of the acupuncturist.

Please Note: all people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

OFFICE VISITS (CHILDREN UNDER AGE 12):

Follow-Up Visit (45 minutes: consultation, exam, acupuncture treatment and herbal or nutritional consultation): $130

HOME VISITS:

Home Visit (75 minutes): $395  + Fuel Charge

Includes medical history, consultation, exam, acupuncture treatment and herbal consultation, if appropriate.

ADD-ON’s TO ANY TREATMENT (OFFICE OR HOME VISIT):

Fire Cupping: $30

Ear Seeding: $20 per pair

EXISTING PATIENTS (TELEMEDICINE):

For herbal consultation check-ins, nutritional support, cycle tracking support, and/or for folks who live outside of the Los Angeles area (but within the state of CA).

30 Min: $115 / 45 Min: $165

FORMS OF PAYMENT

We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, checks, cash, and FSA and HSA (Federal and Health Savings Account) Cards.  Bounced checks will incur a fee of $35 per check.

INSURANCE

Payment in full is due at the time of service.  We are not a contracted provider with any insurance companies, and we no longer direct-bill for insurance, but if you have a PPO plan, we can give you a super-bill with the necessary codes, which you can send into your insurance company for reimbursement if your plan covers Acupuncture. (HMO plans & Medicare / MediCal do not reimburse you for superbills.) If you would like to know if your health insurance plan covers acupuncture, call the Member Services phone number listed on the back of your insurance card and ask for a "Quotation of Benefits for acupuncture from a non-participating (a.k.a. out-of-network) provider." 

CANCELLATION POLICY

We request a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel a Telemedicine Appointment or Office Visits. However, if you’re sick, please let us know as soon as possible and do not come into the office. Call us at 626-460-8616 or send an email to frontdesk@floatchinesemedicalarts.com. 

PLEASE NOTE:

Dr. Abigail has a severe allergy to commercial perfumes. Please refrain from wearing perfume to your office visit. Thank you for understanding!
